Amazon India charges 8% referral/commission fee on Beauty & Personal Care products. Additionally, there's a closing fee (₹25–40 depending on price slab), forward shipping charges (₹40–80 per 500g for self-ship), and TCS at 1% on the gross amount. The TCS amount is recoverable when you file GST returns.
TDS u/s 194O at 1% is deducted by Amazon India on gross sales if your annual sales through the platform exceed ₹5 lakh in a financial year. This TDS is credited to your Form 26AS and can be adjusted against your income tax liability when filing ITR.
